Robinhood Rahul Gandhi is the Need of the Hour in India! (2024 LOKSABHA SPECIAL EDITORIAL - FROM EDITORIAL DESK OF AATMEEYATAA PATREKAA)

The Stupid one sided view expressed by Tavleen Singh in her recent column 'Robinhood Economics' in The Indian Express that the billionaire Gautam Adani created wealth all by himself, her silly claim that it was not given to him by Prime Minister Narendra Modi or any other politicians shamelessly overlooks the fact that Gautam Adani became super rich by benefitting from loan
waivers worth Rupees 16 lakh crore given by Indian government to businessmen friends of  Narendra Modi.

She further conveniently forgets the fact that Gautam Adani created abnormal wealth by exploiting and looting public resources at cheap prices. He has been given land, mines, forests, mineral,  and other resources at thrown away prices by Narendra Modi led BJP government. In fact, many non-bjp state governments have done the same.

This is not to deny the fact that Narendra Modi has really worked very hard to try to attract foreign investment into India since 2014 as evidenced by his record number of foreign trips to woo foreign investors.

But, to say that before 2014 Indian economy was in shambles is wrong. One can't forget how Congress Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao had magically opened the Indian economy to foreigners which led to unbelievable high Foreign Direct investment into India. This solid base created by PV Narasimha Rao enabled Narendra Modi to persuade foreigners to invest into India.

Tavleen Singh also ignores the fact that the poor need be given money to have enough purchasing power to get access to market-dictated facilities.

She in effect wants poor lady from economically poor familes from backward tribal areas as Jharkhand to flock to urban centres of NCR, Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai and continue doing cleaning, sweeping floor and cooking food for rich urban lady like her in her posh apartment or kothi as a maid servant at paltry wages of Rupees 1000-3000 per month.

She in effect desires the woman from poor familes to be never be able to have adequate financial resources and luxury of spare time to improve their own life by learning various skills, or buying amenities to improve their standard of life. She in effect wants poor ladies to continue as slave maid servants in the house of urban rich ladies like Tavleen Singh herself.

But, Rahul Gandhi the Robin Hood has come to the rescue of the poor. He wants the poor to have money in their pockets that shall help them become real wealth creators by buying tools needed or learn skills without having to worry about financial security. He doesn't want just one Gautam Adani to be the sole wealth creator. He wants millions of the poor to be transformed into wealth creators.

Rahul Gandhi the modern Indian Robinhood recently tweeted that, "Narendra Modi has waived off the loan of his billionaire friends amounting to Rs 1,60,00,00,00,00,000, i.e., 16 lakh crore rupees!

With this much money: 16 crore youth could have got jobs of Rs 1 lakh per year; By giving Rs 1 lakh per year to 16 crore women, the lives of their families could have been changed; Countless suicides could have been prevented by waiving off the loans of 10 crore farmer families; The entire country could have been provided gas cylinders for just Rs 400 for 20 years; The entire expenses of the Indian Army could have been borne for 3 years; and Education up to graduation could have been made free for every youth from Dalit, tribal and backward society.

The money which could have been used to cure the pain of 'Indians' was spent to create hype for the 'Adanis'. The country will never forgive Narendra Modi for this crime. Now, the situation will change- Congress will run the government for the progress of every Indian."

The poor shall certainly have the pie and eat it too, and their life shall positively be transformed if the India Alliance won the 2024 Loksabha elections. Even if the India Alliance lose, the new government of NDA shall feel compelled to rethink, recalibrate, and reprogramme economic policies to avoid being labelled anti-poor.
