Last election 2016, I had fully supported candidature of Donald Trump since I thought he would be better than Hillary Clinton.
I had then even gone out of my way to create decisive tide-turning favourable environment for him, on cyber media, especially the Twitter platform. So powerful was its impact that even Hillary Clinton had then lamented and highlighted this fact by saying something like this - "He (Donald Trump) created a Twitter-War against her with Cher (Sher)." "Sher" happens to be my First name, officially.
Of course, he was and even now is better than her as a presidential material.
My support to his candidacy then had sprung from my sincere concern as a global citizen of generally long-lasting impacts American Presidential elections have on rest of us non-American global population, as decisions by American President affect whole globe in view of the USA wielding and exercising tremendous influence upon global life.
I have worked as a law enforcement officer and so naturally applauded unflinching moral and other kinds of support extended to American law enforcement agencies by Donald Trump as the American President. Also, the fact that he drew only a token salary of just US Dollar one as American President speaks volumes about his selfless spirit in addition to his being down-to-the-Earth in terms of him showing full respect for non-Collegiate blue-collared workers from the White Community.
And as regards handling of COVID19 PANDEMIC, even any USA President from Democratic Party would have not fared any better than Donald Trump keeping in view volatile global imprints of mercurial Corona-19 virus.
Yet several points prompted me to remain neutral this time around.
First and foremost, I didn't wish to influence current presidential election in any way.
Second, I have equal respect for both Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
Third, I am not an American citizen and as such am not politically bound to side with either of these two presidential candidates.
Fourth, it's not easier to support a candidate such as Donald Trump who has had a proven track record of having taken three big WRONG foreign policy decisions in his first term that have put world peace into danger. It is very much expected Joe Biden aided suitably by Kamala Harris shall not repeat these three dangerous bad foreign policy decisions
Fifth, Donald Trump showed little empathy or no ability at all to handle internal disturbances as reflected in Urban Chaos caused by his mishandling of public protests against police.
If he had been provided support to be re-elected the USA President then it would have meant creating scope for further repetitions of his follies that were witnessed so helplessly by all of us during his first stint.
Sixth, he and his team never replied to my letter that I had written to him, inter alia, in an effort to help solve North Korean Nuke issue peacefully. I had routed that postal letter to him through the office of "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" (MAGA). Possibly, either that letter was never sent to him by MAGA or else he ignored it if it did really land upon his table in White House. So, non-response from him taught me futility of supporting his candidature for second term.
I know this brief write-up carries risk of annoying Donald Trump. He may even denounce me or find imaginary faults in my present article since he is used to passing uncharitable comments against those who may disagree with him, to his views or point out flaws in his policies and such other matters. I have so far not observed him appreciating unfavourable comments on him or his politics. He has shown little or no propensity to take adverse comments in cheerful spirit and learning from them. For example, he loves all adoration shown by you for him. But, the moment you try to help him stay correct course by pointing out his flaws, he forgets all good things that you have spoken about him earlier and instead he starts a tirade of tweets against you. Therefore, most sensible people avoided to give any advice least it be misconstrued as you disliking him in which case you will suddenly find yourself being painted as a bad person by him!
To sum up, whosoever wins the current Presidential Job must ensure non-repetition of follies both on domestic and foreign policy fronts that were witnessed during Donald Trump's first stint as the American President.
