Is India heading towards an undeclared mini civil war? Unthinkable seems to be
looming large on horizon if Indian government
of the day fails to diffuse ongoing violence that is a byproduct of current Anti CAA+NRC PROTESTS across breath and width of country. Security agencies have to take timely effective and efficient remedial action by finding out who has stoked violence in otherwise purely peaceful protests - angry public themselves, opposition leaders who wish to create problems for Ruling Party by instigating protesters, or elements from within Ruling Party itself who wish to scuttle these protests by giving their participants a bad name? Whatever
may be the surprising truth, the unsurprising truth there for everyone to see is - security apparatus like
police as always is finding itself sandwiched between an ineffective uninspiring political leadership and an angry public-mob. High time police learnt efficient and effective ways to deal peacefully with unsavoury public fallout of mishandling of political issues by political masters.
