As the clock strikes twelve midnight to bid adieu to the year gone by, we at the editorial table of Aatmeeyataa

Patrekaa wish everyone including our own selves a very happy new year 2020! Hope in 20 - 20 match

between bad & good, it shall be good That shall be the glorious happy winner in 2020! Gone year 2019 was a mixed basket, some good things some bad things. A

worst year for women and girl child safety. Horrible cases of rape were reported almost 24×7 by media everywhere. Was it illustrative of enhanced media

awareness or a real spurt in crimes against women? No prizes for guessing correct answer: real increase in atrocities on women.

Unpredictable climate reflected prevailing human ethos and societal indifference to global warming threat. World yearned for more jobs to employ

ever growing young labor force. Wars and fanaticism took their heavy toll. Yet again it were women and children who bore ugly brunt. Advancement in

fields of medicine and space technology were bright silver lining in cloud. We enter 2020 with a sincere hope in heart and faithful prayers on lips. May new year bring in betterment of living conditions and dignity for everyone women and children included.
