The All India Party demands the Central government led by NDA's PM Narendra Modi MUST immediately stop indulging in the CRONY BUREAUCRATISM....!
The appointment of former CBI director RK Raghvan as India's High Commissioner to Cyprus creates a strong suspicion that he has been rewarded this way by Narendra Modi for having shown undue favour to the present PM Modi while leading the SIT (Special Investigation Team) that had probed the 2002 Gujarat riots. This raises further suspicion that the SIT had actually found Narendra Modi the then Gujarat CM guilty in the 2002 Gujarat riots. But, CBI director RK Raghvan had a soft corner for Modi and ensured the 2002 Gujarat riots case against Modi was weakened to a great extent to enable Modi to get a clean cheat and not be held responsible for having caused the deaths of those innocents killed during that inhumane riots...!
The NDA government has designated the outgoing home secretary Rajiv Mehrishi the new CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General). The CAG is required to be a POLITICALLY FULLY NEUTRAL person. A bureaucrat who has worked under a certain dispensation CAN NEVER function independently under the same dispensation. Such a former bureaucrat shall never go against the dictates of the government under which she/he has worked. This leads to the compromising of the neutrality of the institution.
We demand strongly that the appointment of Rajiv Mehrishi as the new CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) be revoked immediately in the DEMOCRATIC PUBLIC INTEREST OF THE NEUTRALITY OF THE INSTITUTION OF THE CAG. The appointment of former CBI director RK Raghvan as India's High Commissioner to Cyprus be revoked too, as it would otherwise encourage the officers of the present CBI and other investigating agencies to do faulty investigations in favour of the NDA dispensation in the hope of rewards as plum post-retirement postings.
