THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA MUST MAKE THE ELECTION NOMINATION PROCESS MORE TRANSPARENT, PARTICIPATORY AND HASSLE-FREE!

HOW CAN THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA MAKE THE ELECTION NOMINATION PROCESS MORE TRANSPARENT, PARTICIPATORY AND HASSLE-FREE?
In response to the above question, Swaamee Aprtemaanandaa Jee said,"Look!First, the Election Commission must appoint a NOTARY to assist the Returning Officer who should on the spot in the Returning Officer's office examine the Nomination Form filed by the candidate and immediately help the candidate make the needed corrections in the form. Secondly, the district police must be directed to provide full security cover to the candidate and her/his 10 proposers so that the proposers aren't scared to come to the Collectorate. IT IS A FACTUAL REALITY AND NOT MERE PERCEPTUAL REALITY THAT IN THE CASE OF GAUTAMBUDHNAGAR DISTRICT THE PROPOSERS OF MANY CANDIDATES ARE WILLING TO GIVE THEIR THUMB IMPRESSIONS OR SIGNATURES  ON NOMINATION FORM, BUT AREN'T READY TO COME TO THE COLLECTORATE IN FRONT OF THE RETURNING OFFICER BECAUSE OF THEIR REAL/UNREAL FEAR THAT THE LEADERS OF MAJOR BIG POLITICAL PARTIES SHALL GET THEM KILLED ON THEIR WAY TO THE COLLECTORATE OR INSIDE THE COLLECTORATE...! Thirdly, the Returning Officer who has full government machinery at her/his disposal must ON BEHALF OF EACH CANDIDATE be MADE to get 'NO DUES' certificates as regards the Electricity, Water, Telephone bills, other dues from the local authorities such as the Noida Authority, etc. It is practical experience of most candidates that it is near-impossible to get 'NO DUES' Certificate from concerned government authorities due to reasons such as - Often the concerned officer is not present on the seat, Office is closed or the candidate does not give BRIBE to the OFFICER to obtain the NO DUES certificates. Since the candidate pays the hefty sum of Rs10,000/5,000 AS THE SECURITY DEPOSIT TO THE GOVERNMENT, IT IS THE DUTY OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION TO ENSURE THAT THE CANDIDATE GETS FULL HELP FROM THE ELECTION COMMISSION TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ELECTION...!"
